Church of Alamina
Not long after Alamina’s ascension the first Saints was anointed by the Sunbride as her confidant voice in Taystra. Since then when one Saint passes away, a new one is chosen from Venerable Mothers in a ceremony taking place in the Temple of Alamina, Aucry Palatii, in far south of the continent.
Despite Church being attended by people of all cultures and heritages, so far only humans have ascended to the sainthood.
The Saint is head of the Church and resides in the Sun Court located in the capital of Oda Empire. They can’t rule any lands - according to the Treaties of the Saint Stanisla - yet their voice is heard in nearly all countries.
Saints are believed to possess fraction of Alamina’s power.
Their blood is golden.
Story of Alamina
First she was a woman, Alamina from South, kneeling under the warm sun. There was a wraith of flowers on her head and she wore a white dress. The real Sunbride.
On the next piece of glass, some power suspended Alamina in the air, gold pouring out of her hands, eyes, and mouth. Her Ascension to divinity.
Then she posed in front of the elder dragons and commanded them to stop their destruction and surrender to eternal sleep.
Of course, such a miracle took too much from her still mortal form, so in the next window she was turning into a star, hanging low on the sky, a twin to the Sun.
