Vlastis Morvran, known as The Reaver, is a Forsaken Fae of the Court of Rain and a member of elven Clan Morvran. Once a hunter of the cursed Vigloy Forest, she ended up fulfilling a curse long foretold upon her bloodline.
Biography
Early Life
Vlastis was born into Clan Morvran, a warrior lineage within the Court of Rain in Taystra. From birth, she was marked by prophecy. A curse laid upon her bloodline decreed that one of three daughter of Morvran blood would be claimed by and bound to the Ladies of the Woods.
Rather than allow the burden to fall unpredictably upon either of her cousins, Anaris and Eleiris, Vlastis chose to accept it herself.
She was raised as a hunter of the Vigloy Forest, she demonstrated exceptional aptitude in tracking, endurance combat, and sharpshooting.
The Forsaking
After the celebration of her 17th birthdays Vlastis entered the heart of Vigloy Forest and met Ladies of the Woods. There she accepted to pay the price of her bloodline's curse and drank the tainted blood given to her by the Ladies.
Horrible hunger awaken within Vlastis, bloodthirst that can be satiated only by violence and battle. Thru this she gained forbidden powers and became Forsaken. Though she does not require blood to survive, she consumes the vitae of her enemies. This strengthens her and deepens her connection to the Mist.
When blood is spilled, Vlastis' restraint thins. The Reaver, vampiric-like hunger emerges — precise, merciless, and predatory.
Within the Court of Rain, Vlastis' forsaking is regarded as both sacrifice and quiet tragedy.
Present Status
Vlastis remains bound to the Vigloy Forest, serving as both hunter and guardian against its spreading corruption. She refuses to leave the forest permanently, believing her presence stabilizes forces others do not fully understand.
Personality
Vlastis is disciplined, observant, and slow to anger. She studies opponents before engaging and rarely enters unwinnable conflicts.
Despite her reputation, she is capable of quiet tenderness, particularly toward those who see her beyond her curse. However, she struggles with self-perception and often frames her existence as a necessary sacrifice rather than a personal desire.
Her greatest fear is not death, but erasure — becoming forgotten before her purpose is fulfilled.
